Buyer:

Should I get pre-approved first before I start looking for a home?

Yes, you should get pre-approved first before I start looking for a home. Here is why.

You know your price range, closing costs, and monthly payments upfront;

You only look at homes within your price range;

Your negotiating position with the seller is stronger;

Closing on your new home can happen more quickly.

What happens when I submit an offer on a property I would like to buy?

We will present the offer to the listing agent and/or seller.  The seller will then do one of the following:

Accept the offer;

Reject the offer;

Counter the offer with changes.

Seller:

What will my home sell for?

The market tells us how much your home is worth. I will advise you on pricing after my thorough analysis of your property compared to the market, and with my recommendation, you will make the final decision.

How do I prepare my house for selling?

Staging Makes the Difference. Decluttering and improving the general cleanliness and condition of the home is what we call “staging”. The home becomes more valuable than other comparable properties in that price range. More buyers become interested and make offers allowing you to sell faster and for more money.

The closing day marks the end of your home-buying process and the beginning of your new life! Transfer of title moves ownership of the property from the seller to you. At the end of closing, the deed will be taken and recorded at the county clerk’s office.
